Introduction & Admission Procedures
Dear Prospective Family,
Thank you for your interest in The Renaissance Academy of International Learning (TRAIL School). We hope that our admissions material is helpful to you as you begin your application process. We are pleased to offer you a high quality education in a warm and supportive learning environment. TRAIL School strongly believes that a successful education is a partnership between school, family, and community. As the Admissions Coordinator, I look forward to assisting you with any questions you may have about the admissions process.

Admissions Procedures
To apply for admission at The Renaissance Academy of International Learning (TRAIL School), please complete the application and steps outlined below. Please submit the paper application to our Admissions Office or send a scanned copy of the forms to admissions@trail.edu.pa. A separate application is required for each child applying.
- TRAIL School requires a $110.00 non-refundable application fee for each student. TRAIL accepts direct deposit or VISA/Mastercard credit cards. An additional bank fee of $50.00 is required for international wire transfers.
- Complete all forms included in this application. Some of the forms must be completed by the student’s current teacher (if applicable). Please ask the teachers to email the forms directly to admissions@trail.edu.pa with the students name in the subject line. If this is not possible, the teacher recommendation must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Admissions Office. Failure to provide this information during the application process will result in TRAIL School being unable to fulfill its educational commitment to you and your student and may result in denial of admission or a reversal of an admission decision for an already accepted/enrolled student.
- TRAIL School requires school records/academic transcripts of the student’s previous school records. If necessary, school records must be translated into Spanish for the local Ministry of Education and authenticated by the current school/certified by an official translator. Scanned copies will be accepted for the admissions process.
- Submit copies of any/all diagnostic test reports, current psychological educational evaluation or other learning support profiles, special needs evaluation, and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and Standardized Achievement Test results including MAP assessments (if applicable).
- Submit a copy of the photo identification page from the passports of the student and parents.
- Submit a recent color digital photo of each applicant and save it as a JPEG under the student passport name. Pictures must be passport size (200 x 300 pixels). Please take the photo with a white or blue background.

Begin Application
1. Click to Create an Account
To begin the application process, please click the "Create an Account" tab at the top of this page to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account.
2. Click to Start Application
You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.
3. Review and Submit
Once all required fields of the application are complete, you must select "Review & Submit." Once the application has been submitted and reviewed, the Admissions Office will contact you to confirm receipt of your completed application and schedule a family interview and student evaluation session.
